Warm, Humid Week Ahead for Minnesota with Growing Chances of Rain and Thunderstorms

Chill Monday Sets a Breezy, Smoky Tone

Warm-Up and Haziness by Tuesday

Moving along, the week brings a warm rebound, with highs near 80 degrees, but the haze remains. Sunshine will be filtered by wildfire smoke drifting south, keeping the skies murky. Humidity will also climb, adding to the early summer warmth.

Mid-Week Thunderstorms

By Wednesday, clouds will thicken in the afternoon, bringing a chance of scatters showers and isolated thunderstorms. Highs stay in the low 80s. While these storms won’t likely be severe, they could deliver brief heavy downpours and gusty wind bursts.

Settling into a Humid, Unsettled Weekend.

From Thursday into the weekend, humidity remains high, and the weather stays variable. Thursday and Friday morning will be mostly dry but warm. followed by more clouds and showers in the afternoon. By the weekend, expect a few strong storms-especially Sunday-with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
